Nick Scarcia -- Artist

nick@sscomics.net
Nick has been doodling and sketching for most of his life. This carried on in the traditional fashion for many years -- characters and settings filling sketchbooks, mock-ups of video games, etc. It wasn't until he came into posession of a version of Photoshop that his artwork began to truely gain ground. In and around his first visualization of what would become City of Daemons he began expanding his skills into the world of graphic design.
Nick's first published piece of art was created in Photoshop, and printed in the Pittsburgh City Newspaper in 2003. His next most notible credits include CD artwork and layout for an artist known as Jimmy D and Xatanga. The latter would commission Nick to create two promotional posters later in the year. His other credit of note is an ad created for Trick Drums. The drums were supposedly designed to go though a carwash without any damage, and the picture of a man with a hose was doctored to look as though this was occuring.
Dan Stoner -- Writer/Animator

dan@sscomics.net
Dan Stoner is what many would call a jack-of-all-trades, though perhaps not of the Bruce Campbell Sunday afternoon variety. He has spent his years after high school exploring many mediums. He has spent, and still spends, much of his time as a freelance webdesigner. He has also become involved in video editing and DVD authoring, which have become essential to his and Nick's visions of bringing their comic to life. But the focus of this page is not on those, but on his writing and animation history.
Dan's first published work was a video game walkthrough for Castlevania 64, way back in 1999. He has since published five other walkthroughs, all of which have appeared on such websites as GameFAQs, IGN FAQs, and most recently at 1up.com, among others. His next big break as a writer came in 2004 when he was selected as an article writer for Zelda Elements. While still technically employed as an article writer, Dan spends most of his time with content updates. In mid 2005, Dan published a short story entitled Fall of the Magi, on Fan Story under the moniker Qwex.
Dan's animation credits may be short, but he feels them important enough to note. The only animation work he wishes to divulge is entitled Sponge Saints, and can be found on disc three of the Broken Saints DVD set.
